Best Place To Spice Up Your Valentine’s Day

»But what flavour are you looking for? Sugar and spice and all things nice? Or something …ssssssassier? For whatever flavour plots and plans you’re cooking up, Dunckerstrasse 10 seems a good place to start. Forget your special marzipan cocoa sachets, forget Willy Wonka’s, think more like the dark chocolaty heart no one discovered yet in Versailles.... It’s a tiny shop, painted in coffee colours, deep delicious brown, with gold trimming. Inside, against the wall, with respectfully dim lighting and in an orderly and tempting display, are chocolate bars from all around the world. There’s also a range of hand-made truffles, safely restrained in a glass display case. Casing the goods, the gentle and intriguing Austrian pumpkin truffle chocolate bar is good, but there’s more more more… I see a young gentleman gazing with an unhealthy intensity at the chocolate bar with white pepper and mint… yes, perhaps that could be interesting… Then there’s someone else approaching the dark chocolate bar flavoured delicately with Earl Grey tea. No, perhaps not, nor the lad lurking near the chocolate with ginger… But I see a slender and attractive hand reaching for the kicking chili chocolate. This bites you right back… yes .. indeed, that could be the one. Many of these are also available as bars for cocoa if you’re in a hurry to get back to the flat, but the chili chocolate collection my require some further investigation. At the back, there’s a cosy and ahh, decently seperate corner with dark velvet seats to settle in and sip cocoa… mmm hmmm… and the chili chocolate, unfinished, drips slowly down the wee TV screen with that trendy flames image.«
